Last month, Enham Trust's social enterprise and Supported Employment Team received the news from award-winning international social enterprise accreditation body, Social Enterprise Mark CIC, that they had been awarded The Disability Employment Mark (DEM).

"The Disability Employment Mark (DEM) is a new accreditation that has been designed specifically for social enterprise supported businesses and local authorities that have a focus on providing employment for people with physical disabilities, long-term health conditions and/or recognised mental health challenges."

Enham 3PL (also commonly known as E3PL) is an experienced third party logistics provider. Based in Andover, Hampshire and part of Enham Trust, this is a Social Enterprise that takes great pride and passion in delivering and exceeding customer expectations for over 14 years.

Strive is Enham Trust’s newest Supported Employment service, helping other organisations to become more disability inclusive and to achieve Disability Confident status through the government’s Disability Confident Scheme.

Our Strive Team have supported many disabled people into work and in 2021-2022, provided supported and unsupported employees with a combined total of 17,000 working hours in our social enterprise. This has enabled our valued colleagues in 3PL to earn money, gain new skills and exercise their right to work.

Our Deputy Director of Operations, Charlotte Peck, said of the award:
